Calp Town Council, the elected governing body of Calp, Spain, provides public services and citizen communication but found its IT setup—a storage array connected to multiple VMware servers—lacked real-time replication, disaster recovery and the high availability it needed. The council therefore sought an SDN-aware storage solution to replicate data between servers in real time.
