FAFCO, the oldest and largest American manufacturer of solar water heating and thermal storage, builds residential and commercial pool‑heating systems that significantly reduce owners’ heating costs. The company relied on standalone servers that could not guarantee the production uptime required for their operations.

FAFCO deployed StarWind Virtual SAN to mirror storage and compute across nodes using existing hardware, avoiding proprietary purchases and keeping management simple. Since deployment they’ve seen continuous production with no server downtime, supported by timely vendor service, and plan to continue and expand their use of StarWind solutions.
