A StarWind Software Case Study
Eurokars Group Indonesia, a Jakarta-based multi-franchise automotive dealership, faced a growing IT challenge: separate virtual compute and storage systems running on Microsoft Hyper-V clusters and a separate SAN created a large hardware and software footprint, poor performance and data availability, and heavy manual orchestration — and the company could not afford a new SAN to fix it.
StarWind deployed its Virtual SAN (vSAN) to create a hyperconverged environment that unified the existing Hyper-V virtualization and storage into a single, synchronized platform. With StarWind’s technical support the transition was fast and non-disruptive, reducing the hardware/software footprint, improving performance, scalability and data availability, and enabling more efficient operations and sustainable business growth.
