Case Study: Daikin Vietnam achieves high availability and scalability with StarWind Software's HyperConverged Appliance (HCA)

A StarWind Software Case Study

Preview of the Daikin Case Study

Daikin Vietnam ensures high availability and scalability of their IT infrastructure, all with a single StarWind HCA

Daikin Vietnam, an affiliate of Daikin Industries established in 1995 that distributes air-conditioning products in Vietnam, faced a fragmented and inflexible IT environment made up of physical Hyper‑V servers, SAN storage, Fibre Channel switches and HBAs from multiple vendors. That complexity made achieving high availability and scalable infrastructure costly and difficult to manage.

To address this, Daikin deployed a single StarWind HyperConverged Appliance (HCA) to unify servers, disks, flash and software into one manageable, plug‑and‑play layer with a single GUI and multi‑hypervisor support. The HCA delivered easier deployment, lower cost, single‑console management, scale‑out capability and affordable high availability, backed by strong StarWind ProActive support, and Daikin plans to expand the solution for its upcoming VDI project.
