A StarWind Software Case Study
Alexander City Schools, a K–12 public district in Alexander City, Alabama (est. 1869), was running an aging, separated compute-and-storage environment made up of two servers, two switches and a SAN that lacked adequate fault tolerance and needed replacement.
After evaluating hyperconvergence, the district deployed the StarWind HyperConverged Appliance, consolidating production onto just two servers with data mirrored between nodes for high availability. The result is a simpler, more scalable environment with improved performance and reliability, an easy migration process, and reduced management effort.
