Sovrn, an AdTech company that helps web publishers optimize revenue from ads and affiliate links, needed to replace its 24- to 48-hour reporting delay with faster, more granular analytics. The company wanted a managed solution that could deliver real-time, user-facing data without sacrificing the custom reporting its customers relied on.

StarTree Cloud, StarTree’s managed Apache Pinot service on AWS, gave Sovrn real-time analytics with BYOC deployment, tiered storage, and scalable infrastructure. With StarTree, Sovrn now processes over 180 million view events, 10 million click events, and 1 million revenue events across 2,700 publishers, while cutting data latency from days to under a second and freeing engineers to focus on new product development.
