HIPRA, a global veterinary pharmaceutical company focused on Animal Health, faced an outdated MS Access laboratory system that couldn’t interface with instruments or other business software and forced many manual tasks (for example, manually creating COA graphics each afternoon). To modernize and centralize laboratory operations, HIPRA partnered with STARLIMS and deployed the STARLIMS LIMS, a web‑based .NET solution to replace the legacy system and enable real‑time reporting to customers.

STARLIMS delivered a fully integrated, 100% web LIMS with instrument interfaces, defined test workflows, Crystal Reports integration and STARLIMS Designer for custom extensions, centralizing data and automating processes. As a result, 100% of lab instruments are connected, analysis and planning time improved by 40%, COA generation time fell by 70%, and time to deliver results in paper format was cut by 90%, alongside improved traceability, inventory control and multi‑country deployment.
