RNB Cosméticos Boosts Efficiency With the Implementation of Starlims Solution

RNB Cosméticos, a Valencia-based cosmetics manufacturer with a portfolio of more than 300 products, 500 employees and dedicated microbiology, analytical, stability, rheology and packaging labs (about 45 staff), faced fragmented data across Coptis, Navision, Mapex, SharePoint and spreadsheets that made sample tracing, scheduling, task prioritization and regulatory auditing difficult. To centralize laboratory and R&D data and improve workflow visibility, RNB Cosméticos implemented STARLIMS as its enterprise LIMS (installed early 2015).

STARLIMS was integrated with RNB’s existing systems (including Navision and Mapex), configured to manage environmental and water sampling, coordinate testing with about 20 third‑party labs, enforce user roles and training, and automate alerts, results entry and report/certificate generation. The STARLIMS deployment delivered full traceability and real‑time access to current and historical results, streamlined task allocation so no user is assigned untrained work, sped batch‑release decisions, and measurably increased laboratory efficiency through centralized data, automated reminders and better equipment and personnel utilization.
