Carabao Selects STARLIMS to Digitalize Energy Drink Quality Control Testing

Carabao Energy Drink, a major Thailand-based beverage manufacturer with global distribution, faced inefficient, paper‑based quality control: manual test recording, siloed departmental data, limited lab-to-ERP connectivity, and poor traceability that slowed turnaround and increased transcription errors. To modernize its laboratory operations and meet regulatory and production demands, Carabao selected STARLIMS’ LIMS, SDMS and ELN within the STARLIMS QM Informatics Platform.

STARLIMS implemented an integrated, instrument‑connected solution (went live April 2021) that automates sample handling, test scheduling, result capture, electronic reporting and signatures, and integrates with Carabao’s ERP. The STARLIMS deployment delivered real‑time, searchable data, eliminated manual transcription and paper workflows, enabled end‑to‑end batch genealogy and faster batch release, improved compliance and auditability, and freed personnel hours while allowing automated stoppage on out‑of‑spec results.
