Keyword search across disconnected portals and inconsistent data sources made it difficult for users to find relevant information quickly and confidently. Cisco turned to Stardog and its Knowledge Graph platform to support its Semantic Knowledge Mapping & Analytics initiative.

With Stardog, Cisco built the Visual Knowledge Mapping and Analytics service on a semantic knowledge graph that integrates nearly 40 training and certification data sources, supports unstructured content, and uses AI, NLP, ML, and reasoning to auto-classify and link knowledge in real time. The result was a more accurate, collaborative, and personalized knowledge experience, with reduced silos and lower ETL and knowledge-distribution costs, while improving productivity, trust in the service, and discovery of learning resources and experts.
