ARMA Detroit - Customer Case Study

ARMA Detroit, the local chapter of ARMA International with more than 60 years in records and information management, needed to improve member engagement, onboarding, and day-to-day operations while continuing to deliver education and networking opportunities. The chapter sought easier member access, better welcome and outreach processes, and tools to measure and enhance member value.

After adopting StarChapter in 2012, ARMA Detroit implemented customized welcome letters, free meeting vouchers, online member accounts and analytics-driven outreach, and streamlined back-end administration. The chapter’s signature golf outing (30–40 attendees) generates about $1,000 net annually for charity and programming, the platform boosted operational efficiency and member experience, and 19 other ARMA chapters have since adopted StarChapter inspired by their success.
