StarChapter partnered with the East Central Illinois Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, a volunteer-led group serving 500+ fundraisers across seven cities. The chapter needed a way to recruit and retain members in diverse communities, publicize events and awards, collect nominations and registrations, and improve communications—especially reaching a large non‑member audience—while reducing administrative burden.

The solution was a new StarChapter website that centralizes meeting administration, communications, event registration, job postings, nomination collection, payment processing, and analytics. The chapter gained a professional, easy-to-navigate site, immediate fee collection, more job ads, and a halving of the treasurer’s workload; outreach improved with updated emails for all members and about 20% of previously unreachable non‑members, driving measurable progress toward their goals.
