Florida Hospital Orlando, part of Adventist Health System, was facing significant inefficiencies in managing its infusion pumps, leading to low availability, high costs, and delays in patient care. A legacy process that required constant transportation of the devices resulted in damage and frustration for nursing and support staff. They partnered with STANLEY Healthcare to find a modern solution.

STANLEY Healthcare implemented an automated PAR level management system leveraging the hospital's existing RTLS investment, including AeroScout exciters, antennas, T2u tags, and the MobileView Analytics platform. The solution automated tracking and cleaning notifications, eliminating the transportation step and giving nurses immediate visibility into pump availability. This resulted in an estimated annual savings of $2 million, a 66% reduction in patient care delays, and a dramatic increase in nurse confidence and time for patient care.
