STANLEY Security Delivers Highly Customized, Intuitive Security Solution to Provide Centralized Control for Nashville Law Enforcement Agency

The Davidson County Sheriff’s Office, which oversees more than 4,000 inmates and 850 employees across two three‑building compounds in Nashville, required a comprehensive, highly intuitive electronic security upgrade to centralize control of access, video, alarms and notifications. They engaged Stanley Convergent Security Solutions, Inc to provide a scalable, integrated solution using its Commander PSIM (Physical Security Information Management) platform.

Stanley Convergent Security Solutions, Inc implemented the Commander system to converge access control, nearly 350 video cameras, analytics, 635 intercoms, alarm/duress systems, elevator interfaces and real‑time notifications onto a single master touch‑screen with 15 control stations and a fiber‑optic backbone linking the two campuses. The deployment added comprehensive event logging (who/what/when), 24/7 monitoring, onsite training and greater operational flexibility, delivering smoother transitions, improved incident investigations and centralized control across six buildings 30 miles apart.
