The University of West Georgia faced the challenge of protecting a large, growing residential campus while modernizing outdated, fragmented security systems and building a campus-wide safety culture. To help, Stanley Convergent Security Solutions, Inc worked with UWG, supplying technologies including STANLEY Wi‑Q wireless access control (800+ residence life units) and participating in broader security planning and grant support.

Stanley Convergent Security Solutions, Inc provided consultative services, turnkey installations and a grant that funded additional video surveillance, access control and lighting, while integrating systems (Wi‑Q locks, Avigilon video management and centralized access control) to streamline operations. The result was unified camera feeds and faster emergency response, more efficient access management (ability to ID users, track stolen IDs and change clearances) and funded expansion of cameras and lighting — tangible improvements that increased situational awareness and student confidence.
