Lakeland Regional Health Medical Center - Customer Case Study

Lakeland Regional Health Medical Center sought to modernize security across its 851‑bed main hospital and satellite campuses after relying on 168 analog cameras, multiple DVRs, an aging access control system covering 334 doors that required heavy manual intervention, and an outdated intercom. To get enterprise‑class functionality without a full infrastructure rebuild or excessive cost, the health system selected Stanley Convergent Security Solutions, Inc to design a scalable, low‑impact upgrade (leveraging Avigilon video and Software House C•CURE 9000 access control among other services).

Stanley Convergent Security Solutions, Inc implemented a hybrid migration that reused existing wiring while converting 168 analog cameras to Avigilon high‑performance IP cameras with Avigilon Control Center 5.0, installed Software House C•CURE 9000 and imported 5,000+ employee profiles, retrofitted 65 panels, added server storage (three 21TB servers initially, later expanded), updated intercoms and integrated visitor management and mass notification. Completed in phased work over eight months and delivered under competing budgets, the solution improved forensic video and remote access for incident resolution (notably parking‑lot incidents), reduced training and infrastructure costs, and led Stanley to be named LRH’s preferred security partner and SSI Integrated Installation of the Year.
