Tarrant County launches HIV public health website in 6 months with Standard Beagle Studio

Tarrant County Administrative Agency sought to design a public health campaign website to educate at-risk populations and reduce the stigma associated with HIV in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Their challenge was to create a separate, engaging website that presented information in a non-intimidating, cool, and fun way to help suppress the virus and support those with a positive diagnosis. They engaged Standard Beagle Studio for this website design and development project.

Standard Beagle Studio designed the public health website tailored for three key audiences: those who are HIV positive, negative, or unaware of their status. The solution provided easy-to-read resources, created a space for community support, and presented information in an accessible way to empower users. After launch, the public health website saw positive trends, including an increase in the percentage of Texans aware of their HIV status and the percentage of Tarrant County residents with HIV who were virally suppressed.
