SBCERA migrates to Business Central without disrupting AP operations

SBCERA, the San Bernardino County Employees’ Retirement Association with $14B in assets serving about 45,000 members and beneficiaries, needed to migrate from a legacy ERP to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central without disrupting day-to-day finance operations. They relied on Stampli as their third‑party accounts payable automation solution and were concerned the ERP change would break approvals, vendor data, and users’ ability to access historical invoices.

Stampli managed a carefully orchestrated migration—preparing accounts, mapping vendors/GLs, running scripts to make the new ERP the source of truth, and providing a sandbox for testing—while preserving historical invoices, audit trails, and AP workflows. The result: SBCERA completed the move in about five months, required only one short phone call to switch Stampli to the new ERP, and maintained uninterrupted AP operations, reduced migration risk, and simplified ongoing training.
