Wolf Construction, a growing wood-framing and roofing contractor based in West Des Moines, faced a major bottleneck: accounts payable remained paper‑based across 24–45 concurrent projects, with stacks of invoices, filing cabinets, and slow, error‑prone approval processes. To fix this, Wolf Construction implemented Stampli’s accounts payable automation platform (integrated with QuickBooks Desktop), replacing manual data entry and paper routing with a digital AP system.

Stampli digitized invoice storage and approvals, enabled remote review and commenting, and used automation (including Billy the Bot) to populate fields and speed coding; integration was completed in days. The result: about 400 invoices processed monthly through Stampli, faster approvals, stronger controls and visibility into who is holding approvals, reduced fraud risk, no need to hire a full‑time AP processor, and more capacity to take on additional projects.
