PBK Architects launches an extensible facilities master plan map with Stamen for school district engagement

PBK Architects, a full-service architectural planning firm, needed an interactive mapping tool to help its school district clients engage with local residents and gather feedback for long-term Facilities Master Plans. They required a solution that provided clear visualizations and could integrate with their existing survey systems. Stamen was engaged to address this challenge.

Stamen developed a stand-alone web map application that integrated directly into PBK’s content management and survey infrastructure. This created an effective feedback loop for residents and provided an extensible framework for use across multiple school districts. The solution, first deployed for Glendale Unified School District, was designed to be maintained and updated by PBK's own staff without requiring ongoing technical assistance from Stamen.
