Biedronka, a major retail chain, faced significant challenges in its recruitment process, including a high monthly volume of applications, a time-consuming selection procedure, and high employee turnover. To address these issues, they partnered with the vendor Staffly, which provided its custom behavioral and personality tests to help identify the best-fit candidates.
Staffly implemented its short, proprietary tests to measure candidate fit for a pilot study. The results demonstrated that candidates who scored a high cultural and behavioral fit had a turnover rate three times lower than those with a low fit. This outcome allowed Biedronka to significantly streamline its selection process and realize substantial savings by focusing recruitment efforts on the most suitable and retention-prone applicants.
