US AutoLogistics (USAL), a Houston-based auto-transport company with more than 600 associates and roughly 80% of its workforce mobile, needed a better way to reach drivers and remote staff to reinforce safety, procedures and company culture. To close that communication gap, USAL selected Staffbase to deliver a dedicated employee app that would connect dispersed teams in real time.

Staffbase built and launched USAL’s app, Flipper, in late 2017, giving employees scorecards, safety and weather alerts, onboarding tools, training, and company news on iOS, Android and the web. The result: an 83% adoption rate, a survey response surge to 350 of 600 employees (well above the usual 30–35%), faster safety communication and stronger engagement—demonstrating Staffbase’s measurable impact on USAL’s operational transparency and accountability.
