Seaboard Triumph Foods, a food manufacturing company with 2,800+ employees in Sioux City, Iowa, faced the challenge of reaching a largely non-desk workforce that works around the clock, speaks more than 30 languages, and is supported by a very small internal communications team. The company needed a better way to communicate with employees on different shifts, improve accessibility, and reduce risk across its factory-floor operations using Staffbase and its employee app, STF Connect.

With Staffbase, Seaboard Triumph Foods implemented a mobile-first employee app that made communications more accessible, supported translations, gathered feedback, and improved safety and compliance messaging. The results included 738 average weekly active users, 196 daily app users, and 64% of employees registered on the app, while also reducing translation costs by an estimated $8,320 per year and helping lower muscle strains through better safety awareness.
