VodafoneZiggo, a leading driver of Dutch digitization, faced a challenge getting relevant, accurate and authorized information to nearly 2,000 field technicians spread across the Netherlands. Technicians relied on multiple ad‑hoc channels (including scattered SharePoint sites), which produced inconsistent work instructions and slowed troubleshooting. To solve this, VodafoneZiggo selected Staffbase and launched a mobile‑first employee app called Coco in June 2019.
Staffbase delivered a centralized, mobile app that offers targeted channels, push notifications, a searchable document library and field data collection forms, rolled out after a successful pilot. The Staffbase solution achieved rapid adoption (over 80% within six months), more than half of registered users log in daily, and over 90% of technicians said they “couldn’t live without” Coco; VodafoneZiggo reports faster issue resolution, fewer unnecessary dispatches and substantial time savings per incident.
