How Max Mara Fashion Group Informed, Engaged, and Aligned Their Entire Workforce

Max Mara Fashion Group, a global prêt‑à‑porter leader with over 5,500 employees across 105 countries, needed a single, brand‑aligned channel to deliver relevant, timely communications tailored by location, role, company and brand, and to enable collaboration among 50+ editors. To solve these challenges they worked with Staffbase to build a customized employee app, MMFG People, that could be structured and branded to reflect Max Mara’s values.

Using Staffbase’s solution, Max Mara launched MMFG People to connect and engage its dispersed workforce, achieving a 79% adoption rate and roughly 80% monthly active users (more than 3,700 weekly active users) while informing employees during crises—providing daily Covid‑19 updates, protocols and e‑learning. Staffbase’s platform enabled global editorial collaboration, targeted communications, and measurable increases in engagement and alignment across the organization.
