BVG, one of Germany’s largest public transport companies, needed a better way to communicate with its largely non-desk workforce. With around 80% of employees working out in the field and limited access to intranet or email, BVG turned to Staffbase and its employee app to reach employees through a modern, mobile-first internal communication channel.

Staffbase implemented the BVG employee app, “Profile,” to deliver timely, targeted updates, support onboarding, and share information like internal job offers and canteen menus. The rollout was strong, with about one-third of employees registered within two weeks and 80% after four months, and BVG reported very positive feedback from employees and departments alike.
