Case Study: Tampa Bay Buccaneers fill game-day content gaps with fan-generated social posts with Stackla

A Stackla Case Study

Preview of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Case Study

Stackla brings fan content to the big and small screens for an NFL franchise

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers turned a game-day challenge—lots of downtime and a need for fresh, on-brand content—into an opportunity to boost fan engagement. They needed a way to surface and safely curate fan posts from multiple social platforms, ensure content matched specific campaigns and events, and display selected items on stadium scoreboard screens without compromising brand standards.

Using Stackla, the Bucs aggregated Instagram, Facebook and Twitter posts via campaign hashtags (notably #ITSABUCSLIFE) and applied filters and a bad-word block to batch-process and moderate high volumes of submissions. Hand-picked content powered customized JumboTron displays and the “How You Saw It” gallery, driving fan excitement, encouraging future attendance, and providing clear metrics on hashtag mentions, top platforms and influential users for post-game reporting.
