Wanted Shoes, an Australian fashion‑footwear retailer established in 1979, wanted to turn its large, engaged social following into a way for shoppers to browse products and get social validation at the point of purchase. The challenge was to present real-life user content in a searchable, filterable format so customers could see how items look in everyday situations and feel confident buying.
Wanted Shoes used Stackla to aggregate and tag Instagram, Twitter and Facebook posts into a “Street Style” social catalogue and embedded filtered UGC widgets on product pages with direct links to buy. The result: Street Style visitors were 30% more likely to purchase, the page had a 5% bounce rate and 95% of users clicked through to product pages, boosting conversions and social sharing.
