Share Our Strength serves up social engagement to fight childhood hunger

No Kid Hungry is a national nonprofit working to end child hunger in America. For its Maryland Breakfast Challenge the organization needed a way to aggregate multiple social feeds, filter and moderate content, add custom tiles and enable sharing from a social hub — capabilities it hadn’t found in other UGC platforms — to promote the #PoweredByBreakfast campaign and drive school breakfast participation and fundraising.

No Kid Hungry chose Stackla to power social hubs across campaigns and its Generation No Kid Hungry site, using curated user posts to engage students and supporters. The Stackla-enabled hubs broadened the campaign’s reach, helped fund the Maryland drive (resulting in 10,000 more students receiving breakfast daily), sparked youth engagement, and boosted fundraising performance — including a 30% year-over-year increase in one renewal campaign.
