Outrigger Hotels & Resorts, a global portfolio of 37 properties across six destinations, needed a better way to turn authentic traveler photos into inspiration and bookings. Although they already used UGC, the team wanted a partner who could customize solutions, integrate with their Sitecore CMS, and help them cut through the online noise to motivate guests and address real-time concerns like volcanic activity.
By partnering with Stackla and its Developer Services, Outrigger launched customized visual galleries with ShopSpots and dual CTAs (“See Resort” and “Book Now”), added GoConnect uploads for anniversary and campaign content, and embedded live UGC on advisory pages. The program has sourced over 13,000 pieces of UGC, driven direct bookings and measurable revenue, calmed guest concerns during crises, and is now being expanded into targeted, UGC-driven email campaigns.
