How Google Increased Platform Adoption & Innovation with StackBlitz

The customer, Google, faced a challenge with its Angular framework where the process for new developers to get started was tedious, slowing down adoption. Furthermore, its small core team was spending excessive time manually recreating environments to investigate the thousands of bug reports submitted, which impeded innovation. Google sought a secure solution to eliminate this friction and turned to the vendor, StackBlitz, and its browser-based IDE.

StackBlitz implemented its WebContainer-based IDE, which runs entirely within the secure Chrome browser sandbox. This provided instant, clickable examples in documentation and allowed developers to submit bug reports with live, reproducible environments. For Google, this solution dramatically reduced the time to investigate issues from over 30 minutes to a single click. This enabled a team of fewer than 30 developers to manage over 40,000 bug reports, increasing both platform adoption and the team's capacity to innovate.
