Digital Willow Delivers Firstto-Market DOOH Ads at Scotland’s Busiest Airport

Digital Willow, a UK digital communications and media buying agency, needed a first-to-market way to generate awareness and enhance its holistic media offering for Visit Isle of Man. To do this they partnered with StackAdapt to run their first-ever digital out-of-home (DOOH) campaign across major travel hubs — including a first-to-market deployment at Edinburgh Airport on 43 portrait JCDecaux screens — to reach travellers in contextually relevant moments.

StackAdapt powered the DOOH buy in-platform, leveraging JCDecaux inventory via supply partner VIOOH and integrating mobile banners and location-specific creative for each airport. The campaign drove measurable uplift: the term “Isle of Man” saw 263% more click volume, an extra 3 million impressions were served, core search saw a 140% improvement in CTR and a 66.17% improvement in CPA, and targeted display CTR rose 11.1% — results that led Digital Willow and StackAdapt to continue multi-channel work together.
