Preview of the Doctolib Case Study

Doctolib scales remote onboarding for 300 engineers with Stack Overflow

Doctolib, a fast-growing European e-health service, faced the challenge of effectively onboarding a rapidly expanding team of developers across its Paris and Berlin offices, a process made even more difficult by the shift to fully remote work. The company needed a way to share knowledge and help new hires get up to speed without constantly distracting colleagues. To solve this, Doctolib implemented Stack Overflow for Teams to create an internal Q&A platform.

Using Stack Overflow for Teams, Doctolib built a collaborative knowledge base that allowed new hires to find answers and identify subject matter experts asynchronously. The solution improved team cohesion and spirit, streamlined onboarding, and made code logic clearer for everyone. The platform grew from 137 users at launch to 300, successfully improving knowledge transfer and ensuring new joiners could onboard themselves more quickly.
