SmartSalary - Customer Case Study

SmartSalary is Australia's second largest and fastest growing salary packaging provider. To handle their dramatic expansion, SSW was commissioned in 2004 to merge their 3 separate databases in close association with internal IT Staff. We were also charged with an upgrade to their existing VB 6, Crystal Report, Active X control-based application to Visual Basic .NET and SQL Server 2000 Reporting Services. In the process, SSW also re-modeled the new Windows Forms application with a proper strongly typed data and business logic layer. Additional client-specific functionality was required and implemented for SmartSalary which made full use of .NET and control inheritance.
