SSI SCHAEFER implemented an automated logistics center featuring a high-bay warehouse and an SSI Cuby shuttle system, all controlled by its WAMAS Warehouse Control System. This solution provided 6,000 pallet locations and 16,000 bin storage locations, dramatically increasing capacity and throughput. The results included simpler, more ergonomic, and error-free picking processes. The managing director reported that the company's throughput expectations were exceeded, and the system achieved nearly perfect availability of 98%, making Moosmayr faster, more efficient, and more flexible.
