DCH Auriga, a healthcare logistics provider in Thailand, faced the challenge of optimizing storage space and order picking accuracy for temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical products within their existing distribution facility. To meet growing demand and maintain their high industry standards, they partnered with SSI SCHAEFER to implement a semi-automated solution.

SSI SCHAEFER installed a temperature-controlled SSI LOGIMAT® vertical lift module and the WAMAS® logistics software. This solution managed inventory according to expiration dates, streamlined the goods-to-person picking process, and significantly reduced the required footprint. The implementation resulted in a 90% storage space savings, a 60% reduction in electricity costs, and vastly improved picking performance and accuracy for DCH Auriga.
