SSI Schaefer provided a warehousing solution for FREJA, a major transport and logistics company. FREJA faced a challenge handling e-commerce orders for a fashion retailer, as their manual shelving system required excessive space and walking, and they needed a solution to support ambitious future growth plans.

The solution implemented by SSI Schaefer was the installation of 10 LOGIMAT vertical lift modules. This resulted in a massive space reduction, allowing FREJA to store the same number of shoes in 350 m² instead of 1,000 m², which enabled them to consolidate warehouses and terminate an external lease. SSI Schaefer's system also increased picking speed and efficiency while providing more ergonomic operation for employees.
