Müller Martini - Customer Case Study

Müller Martini, a company in the printing industry, needed to modernize its storage and picking processes for small parts to respond more dynamically to market demands. Their challenge was to replace 46 outdated narrow lift modules without disrupting normal plant operations and to seamlessly integrate the new system into their existing SAP environment. They partnered with vendor SSI SCHAEFER to implement a solution using the SSI LOGIMAT® Vertical Lift Modules.

SSI SCHAEFER implemented 17 wide SSI LOGIMAT® Vertical Lift Modules, which were directly integrated into the SAP system using Status C software, requiring no additional hardware. This solution created storage for approximately 48,000 items and optimized the picking process with features like the LOGIBAR for confirmation. The result was a highly efficient storage area and a smooth, integrated workflow that met all of Müller Martini's requirements for modernization.
