World-leading research centre uses Agility to manage its critical technical assets

The SOLARIS National Synchrotron Radiation Centre (NCPS) at Jagiellonian University is Poland’s leading synchrotron facility, supporting multidisciplinary research across biology, chemistry, physics, materials science and more. With high demand and strict technical and safety requirements, SOLARIS needed to maximize real-time availability and reliability of its synchrotron, research lines and supporting infrastructure while coordinating maintenance around tight research schedules and ensuring staff and user safety.

SOLARIS implemented the Agility EAM/CMMS, selected for its fit to the centre’s requirements and deployed quickly by CPU‑ZETO, to manage assets and internal and external service teams. The system gives all staff visibility of preventive maintenance, streamlines repair reporting and feedback, and harmonizes maintenance with research timetables — delivering reliable information, more proactive maintenance, lower costs, reduced downtime and improved operational performance.
