Fiona Stanley Hospital, a state‑of‑the‑art 200,000 m² public hospital in Perth, faced the challenge of coordinating non‑clinical services across a hugely complex site — thousands of clinical and support staff, hundreds of beds and up to 1,500 outpatients daily — while Serco and BT needed an integrated solution to meet rigorous KPIs and manage many disparate systems in real time.
The hospital implemented AgilityAuto, a centrally configured workflow management system that integrates RTLS, telephony, InTouch touchscreens, AGVs and ten other systems to triage, auto‑deploy and track service requests (forecasting ~80,000 requests/month) and measure performance against 600+ KPIs. The outcome was improved operational efficiency and service performance: transparent, auditable service delivery, faster responses, smoother patient movements and real‑time operations.
