Agility Brings Labour Savings and Aids Compliance for Liquid Storage Specialist

Inter Terminals, part of the Inter Pipeline group, is one of Europe’s largest independent tank storage operators with 12 terminals handling over 3 million m³ and more than 100 products. As top‑tier COMAH sites with extensive safety‑critical equipment, Inter Terminals faced fragmented, decentralised CMMS systems across sites that made asset oversight, maintenance scheduling and group reporting difficult and increased regulatory and operational risk.

After selecting Agility from SoftSols, the group implemented a single, centralised platform for maintenance management and incident reporting, creating unified asset registers, planned preventative maintenance schedules and linked incident/maintenance insights. The rollout now manages 45,000 UK assets (about 765,000 data entries), improved COMAH compliance and transparency for regulators, streamlined processes across sites (including a German translation), and saved an estimated 500 administrative hours per year.
