Meadowhall, one of the UK’s largest shopping centres with 280 stores and more than 25 million visitors a year, needed a fast, secure facilities management system to keep its 1.5 million sq. ft. building running smoothly. A ten-person Property Services team had to ensure rapid, approved maintenance across the centre, meet service-level agreements and KPIs, and provide a single point of contact for retailers and staff.
The team upgraded to Agility from SSG Insight, a browser‑based work order and asset management system that centralises requests, schedules reactive and planned maintenance, and provides tailored interfaces and KPI reporting. The result: simpler processes, an accurate maintenance history and performance reporting (used for ISO 18001), better third‑party management, and a clear, fast, secure overview that has made Agility the backbone of Meadowhall’s maintenance operation.
