SpareBank1 SR-Bank, Norway’s largest regional bank (AUM $2 billion), faced rising client demand for online self‑service, complex Norwegian tax reporting and the inefficiencies of running separate on‑site back‑office platforms for the bank and its asset manager. To meet these challenges and reduce client churn, SpareBank1 SR-Bank turned to SS&C Advent and its suite of solutions, including Moxy, Advent Portfolio Exchange (APX), Tradex, GLX and Tax‑as‑a‑Service.

SS&C Advent’s Professional Services consolidated the two operations onto a single, modern platform, implemented Advent Market Data and cloud capabilities, and replaced unstable legacy interfaces. The consolidation improved system stability and security, centralized IT and product knowledge, streamlined upgrades, cut operating expenses and enhanced client servicing — including outsourcing tax reporting via SS&C Advent’s Tax‑as‑a‑Service, which removed the need for an internal team of roughly 10–15 people and ensured timely regulatory filings.
