Sp-Fund Management, a Helsinki-based investment fund and asset manager with about $4 billion AUM, was held back by legacy systems, manual and duplicated processes, slow NAV calculations, and limited flexibility to add new instruments. After a thorough search it selected SS&C Advent — deploying Tradex, Advent Portfolio Exchange (APX) and NAV Management, delivered via Advent Outsourcing Services (AOS) — to replace its fragmented infrastructure and support business growth.

SS&C Advent implemented an integrated, cloud-hosted platform (Tradex, APX and NAV Management on AOS) that automated fund order processing, sped up NAV calculations so manual re-checks were no longer needed, and made it easy to launch new funds and instruments. The result: significantly reduced processing times, the ability to handle high transaction volumes and growth without increasing back-office headcount, improved client reporting, and immediate IT cost savings from the cloud deployment.
