Pendo LLC, a Manhattan-based RIA managing $50 million in AUM, needed a scalable, integrated system to support portfolio management, client CRM and trading without expanding staff. After comparing systems, Pendo selected SS&C Advent’s Advent Portfolio Exchange (APX) and Moxy to replace ad hoc processes and Excel-based workflows and to centralize client and portfolio data.
SS&C Advent implemented APX for integrated portfolio management, reporting and CRM and Moxy for trade order management with FIX connectivity to brokers. The combined solution centralized data, enabled custom reports in under a minute, made ~70% of trading electronic, virtually eliminated trading errors and dramatically reduced processing time—allowing Pendo to confidently scale from $50 million toward a potential $1 billion in assets with no headcount increase.
