London & Capital Group, a London‑headquartered wealth manager with £2.8bn AUM, was running legacy SS&C Advent systems (Moxy and APX) that were approaching end‑of‑life and limiting functionality, performance, and support. To mitigate risk and access new features, the firm engaged SS&C Advent to upgrade its order and portfolio management environment, including Moxy®, Advent Portfolio Exchange® (APX), Advent Rules Manager and Advent Data Solutions/Advent Market Data.

SS&C Advent’s Professional Services delivered the upgrade, testing and workflow redesign, and continues to support the firm via a dedicated consultant and relationship manager. The changes automated daily performance runs (removing monthly manual updates), increased valuation capacity from failing above ~50 valuations to running ~500 at a time, simplified private‑equity workflows, enabled daily security data updates via Advent Market Data, and added pre‑ and post‑trade compliance through Advent Rules Manager—reducing operational risk, cutting workload for portfolio managers, and improving system stability and efficiency.
