Lincluden Investment Management, a Mississauga-based asset manager with C$5.8 billion AUM, faced scalability limits in its order management and modeling workflow: its prior OMS could not efficiently handle the firm’s blended-model approach, making modeling-to-trade creation slow as the number of accounts grew. After an RFP and leveraging an existing relationship around Advent Portfolio Exchange (APX), Lincluden selected SS&C Advent and its trading and compliance suite—including Advent Genesis, Moxy, and Advent Rules Manager—to solve the problem.

SS&C Advent implemented Advent Genesis for portfolio modeling, rebalancing and trade creation, Moxy for trade order management, and Advent Rules Manager for automated compliance (go-live June 2018). The solution delivered dramatic time savings—rebalancing that once took about 30 minutes now takes just a few minutes—improved compliance visibility, reduced manual risk through integration with APX/SSCNet, and positioned Lincluden to double or triple its accounts without increasing rebalancing or trade‑generation time.
