Lapides Asset Management, a ten-person RIA focused on small-cap equity portfolios, faced time-consuming manual processes — daily transaction uploads, constant security-master maintenance, and limited in‑house IT capacity. To address this, Lapides adopted SS&C Advent’s Advent Portfolio Exchange (APX) delivered via Advent OnDemand as a hosted portfolio management solution.

SS&C Advent implemented APX with a full historical data conversion (about 15,000 transaction lines with a reported margin of error under 3%), automated reporting and interfaces, and hosted access for disaster recovery.
