Granite Investment Advisors, a Concord, NH–based RIA managing $496M for individuals, families, corporations and non-profits, faced time-consuming, error-prone manual monitoring of portfolio drift across its ~500 accounts. To address this, the firm has used SS&C Advent’s Moxy trading platform since 2005 and recently upgraded to the latest Moxy release to add portfolio modeling, asset allocation and automated drift-monitoring tools.

SS&C Advent implemented Moxy’s dashboard-driven drift analysis, automated rebalancing and customizable trading screens, plus integrated daily custodial feeds for 99% of accounts. The result: portfolio managers moved from spreadsheet-by-spreadsheet checks to exception-based rebalancing, saving “whole days” of work, improving compliance readiness, accelerating corrections and increasing operational efficiency across the firm’s 500 accounts.
