Formuesforvaltning, the largest privately-owned independent wealth management firm in the Nordics (HQ Oslo, AUM NOK 89 billion), faced a challenge after multiple acquisitions: replace fragmented in‑house order and portfolio systems with an integrated, best‑of‑breed infrastructure. To meet that need they engaged SS&C Advent and adopted its front‑to‑back technology suite, including Advent Portfolio Exchange (APX), Tradex, GLX/General Ledger Exchange, Tax‑as‑a‑Service, Moxy and Advent Rules Manager.

SS&C Advent implemented APX to centralize portfolio and client data across Norway and Sweden, Tradex to automate fund orders with 100% straight‑through processing, GLX and Tax‑as‑a‑Service to automate tax reporting and pre‑book transactions, and compliance/trading tools to scale discretionary services. The result: validation of tax data before year‑end (eliminating much of the manual January reconciliation), push‑button tax reports, faster client onboarding and integration with custodians, and scalable, cost‑efficient operations—enabling Formuesforvaltning to support cross‑border multicurrency activity and continued growth using the SS&C Advent platform.
